With their project „Work Life Balance“, Reinigungsgesellschaft (RG) shows in what way human life integrates itself into efficiency oriented and flexible structures. They investigate what living spaces exist beyond economic pragmatism. At the same time, traces of civilian life added to standardized anthropospheres are visualized. For this, RG has developed a series of photographs that look into the conflict between wishful thinking and reality. The presented photographs act as a visualized classification of the living space as well as the workspace.

By confronting them, precarious social fields of acting and existing protest potential, for example, are picked out as a central theme. That way, the viewer faces a documentary realness.

In a video installation RG deals with the virtualization of operating processes. For this, takings of automated motion sequences in production plants and service enterprises were made. The worker’s physical motional capability gets displaced to the leisure time sector. The topic of adding value is being discussed in a new context.
